Sometimes users run across a "textcontrol is not working properly it is either missing or registered" error when opening MediaShout.  This can happen when uninstalling a previous version of MediaShout after installing version 4.x.  To remedy this, you can do the following:

1. Go to Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs (Start>Control Panel>Programs and Features>Remove a Program in Vista).
2. Right click on the MediaShout installation.
3. Select Change>Repair.
