crashing while selecting text box

version 1.1.4972:
Created two text slides and ended up crashing the system while selecting the slides via the spacebar or directly clicking on the slide.
Finally created the slides in powerPoint (*.jpg format) with success. Crash report (crash while selecting text box.rtf) is in the dropbox crash directory and the two powerPoint slides are attached.

Trying to cut and paste in text from my teaching outline: I get one or two text cues done before MS crashes. When I reopen those cues won't fire. Worse yet, it corrupted my whole presentation so other media (audio/video) won't fire either. I have to rebuild the whole thing each time. Also, I'm still getting that same glitch of the text box disappearing after editing. I have to reselect 'page 1' to get it to show again. Overall, much less stable than previous builds.
