Footer Text Issue

When I have created a song using "Add Songs > from scratch", I use one of several templates. It seems that when I have used a saved template that does NOT utilize the footer, all is well with the song; that is until I opt to use the footer. If/when I select the option when editing the song, the footer indeed shows up, but it includes all the text from the cue foreground, all the titles, lyrics, and footer data. This has happened for some time, but I thought (and I might be correct) that it is related to a corrupted template.

What happens if you create a NEW template using a song that has all the correct formatting but uncheck the footer info in the template properties. Then you can go back into the new template and check 'footer' in the template properties and resave it. Does that work. That might prove if the issue is a corrupt template issue or not.
Have you checked you haven't got a wrong command in the footer, adding stanza body. I'm not at MS PC, and don't even know if that's possible.
