Being Microsoft has rebuilt PPT from the ground up, the following will be how PPT will need to be setup to function properly.

Timed PPTs set to loop will need a Script Control set below the PPT cue to make the PPT loop. This is the only way to get PPT to loop. Placing a Script Control in the Cue by means of the Command Tab will not work.

Timed PPTs set to loop will stop advancing if Script focus is lost. (i.e. clicking outside of the script) This is a behavior within PPT and not a MediaShout issue. In previous versions of PPT we were able to bypass this behavior. PPT 2010 has made bypassing this behavior impossible. Unfortunately, the changes needed for PPT 2010 compatibility has changed this behavior for all versions of PPT being used. We are looking into a Resume Slideshow feature to help in this area.

Timed PPTs set to loop will no longer function in the Panic buttons. However, PPT 2010 has the ability to turn a PPT into a WMV file, thus guaranteeing your PPT will work in the Panic buttons. Unfortunately, for users of earlier versions of PPT this function will no longer work. Again this is due the the changes needed to be made for PPT 2010 compatibility. Being more and more users are upgrading to PPT 2010 we felt this needed to take priority over the few that use Panic buttons in this manner.
