MediaShout can import songs from various types of text and data files.

Adding songs from files

1. Using the Song Deck, click on the Song Library Tools Menu, and Add Songs > From Files.
2. Once the Import Songs window opens, select the type of file or library to be imported, then click Next.
3. Click the Browse button to locate and select the file(s). Click Open (or double-click the file), and then click Next.
4. Choose how you want the program to handle duplicate songs, and whether you want to add the songs to new or existing Song Groups, and then click Finish.

When the import is finished, the Import Songs Results window will appear. It confirms which songs were imported successfully. The imported songs are added to the Song Library and are ready for use in a script.
