MediaShout will automatically support widescreen formats. However, since MediaShout uses the video card for projection, use of a widescreen resolution is entirely dependent on the graphic card's ability to provide widescreen resolution settings.
If you are using MediaShout in Dual Screen mode, the cues that you create will automatically match the resolution of your Main Display. You will need to go to Windows Display Settings and make sure the secondary monitor has a 16:9 (or similar widescreen) ratio for the resolution setting. (Ex: 1280x720, 1280x768, 1280x800, etc.) NOTE: The secondary monitor may limit the screen resolution options depending on the monitor or projector connected.
If you are using MediaShout in Single Screen mode then you will have to adjust the Intended Resolution. This setting is used to define the resolution at which you are planning to display the cues when you present them. You can set this by going to Tools > Setting > Screens to match the Windows Display settings. NOTE: This setting will only be used if a second display is not connected to the computer. If another display is connected, MediaShout will assume that it is your Main Display and it will create cues to match the resolution of that secondary display.
