Hi,

I apologize for the issues that you ran into this past weekend. Do you normally use MediaShout in Overlay Mode? Or, do you usually put it in 2 Display mode to begin the presentation and go from there?

After you have gotten into Overlay mode, can you try hitting the space bar to see if that works?

Let me know.

Thanks,

-Ryan

Good morning Ryan,

We are beginning the process of moving from Windows to Mac. I like to use the overlay mode to see how the cue looks in full screen. I haven't had issues with the pc but now with our new mac the screen is blank/black. Pressing the space bar makes no changes, although I'm pretty sure it is scrolling through the script because when I get to the video cue I can hear audio.

Ah, I see. So, you just use that Overlay mode for testing purposes? Can you go through the article below to make sure that you have your screens configured properly. If they aren't it can cause issues when using Overlay mode.

Let me know how that goes.

Thanks,

Ok, so after doing further testing on the Mac's in our office, it does seem like this is a Bug (SIXMAC-773). This is something that the Developers are already working on. In the meantime, you can use the 2 Display mode under the Settings tab to run the presentation. And, you can use the Main Program Viewer to see what will be sent out when you are building and need to test.

I do apologize for the inconvenience that this causes.

Please let me know if there is anything further I can try to assist with.

God Bless.
