Hello all,
I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue I'm having with Media Shout 5. My churches' computer was running slow and wouldn't connect to our router so I decided to do some trouble shooting to get things working again. I reset the computer, the usual first option on a Windows 10 machine that removes everything except user files. I just reinstalled MediaShout 5 on the computer. However when I try to get it running it comes up slowly and when it does it goes right into "not responding mode". I did notice on the website that MediaShout 5 is unable to be reactivated on other computers. Is that the problem that I'm having or is it another issue? Also does thiscount as another computer. This is the same computer its been on for the past few years, not a different one. Hope you can help! Thanks! in advance!!

Hey Kendra,

Sorry to hear this... Unfortunately you are on the right track. Due to the program being uninstalled on that particular computer, and the information you may have seen about the program no longer being able to be activated, due to licensing issues that were beyond our control with the server that they were run on, MediaShout 5 won't be able to be activated on that computer again. This change instated on January 15th of this year, and we have been sending emails regarding this, since October of last year. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

That being said, if you were at all interested you could call 615-983-5900 for further information on where to go from here. We have a discounted price for users moving from Version 5 to Version 6 that may interest you as well. Once again I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we would love to hear from you soon!

Thanks and God Bless.
