Multiple Monitor setup

In MS6, the controls for multiple monitor setup were much more developed than in MS7. I use a Matrox Digital DualHeadtoGo to project across multiple projectors. MS6 autodetected this monitor setup and stretched correctly. MS7 does not appear to have this same capability, and even after adding the monitor resolution to MS7 and applying it to the main display, the images still do not stretch across the full screen. Gone are the controls to switch between dual and triple monitor setup as well. The display device is working correctly, as the Windows desktop is displaying in the background, but when MS7 is firing cues, they are not appearing properly.

Hey Timothy!

I apologize for the issues you have experienced. Quick question: after you adjusted the Screen Resolution in Settings, did you also adjust it under the Viewers tab on the right side of the program? When you adjust it in the Settings, that is for future Scripts. If you have anything built, you would need to adjust it under the Layers tab on the right.

Let me know if that's what you have already done.

Tell me more about the switch between dual and triple monitor setup.. In the bottom right corner of MediaShout 7, you can click the M Monitor to turn on the Main Screen or the S Monitor to turn on the Stage Screen. is this what you are looking for?

Let me know more about your situation and I'd be happy to help!

God Bless!

I resolved the issue in the Matrox Desktop Management console. There is a setting there for maximizing the windows going through the Matrox device. This setting must be off. Once I unchecked the Maximize box, the screens displayed correctly. Thanks for your help!
