We have started livestreaming our worship services and frequently use the picture in picture feature of our ATEM mini to place the speaker in the lower right corner of the stream feed over the top of the MediaShout cue. Unfortunately, text boxes are just that, a box so we either have to create a text box that is narrow on the left side of the cue or one that just uses the upper portion of the cue. Is there a way to create a text box with a cut-out in the lower right corner to avoid having to waste cue space or losing text behind the PIP?

Hey there,

Unfortunately, there is not a way to do this in MediaShout at this time. It would be like you said: adding the text box to the left side to leave the right side open for the PiP. Or, just make sure your text box does not go down too far where it would be covered up by the PiP.

I do see your reasoning and frustration with this. I'll pass it along to see if we can do something to make this process easier for you.

Thanks,

Thanks Ryan. I did come up with a work around. I can put a graphic in the corner I want to protect and it will show through the text box so I can see where my test is in relation to the (future) PIP. Not ideal but it works. Hope this is something addressed in a future update.

Oh, I'm glad to hear that you found something that will get you by for now. Sure thing, I've already passed it along to the team to see if they can implement something to help with this.

Thanks for the update!
