How do you automatically loop announcements or automatically advance pages in cues? Only version 6 shows up in any search results.

I'm waiting for this feature as well. I'm told "very soon". We need it prior to loading v7 on the church machine.

Currently this feature is not ready in v7, but, As Stu Jackson says, it is coming in days or weeks rather than months. Keep an eye on the Change Log for updates!

Will be looking forward to that. While we appreciate being offered a free upgrade to version 7 when we purchased your product a month ago or so, I must say that at this point it is more of a downgrade than upgrade. A new version of a product should, at minimum, do everything the previous version did before releasing it.

Ok, so, how do we download this version? The download on the main site tells me the same version is already installed, so it doesn't appear to be new. Would be nice if the download link told you which build it was, or at least a release date so folks wouldn't spend several minutes downloading and attempting to install only to discover it's still the same version.

Why was V7 launched at all? We just upgraded to V6 in March and still learning and really liking the new additions since 5. After talking to Brandon in sales, I asked if a V7 was coming out and he said nothing that he had heard of and nothing in development ... then all of the sudden here is 7 ... I find it NOT intuitive at all with little to no controls or ability to make user modifications or settings. I am also concerned that there seems to be ONLY V7 support on the Mediashout page and I am concerned if there will be any updates, bug fixes, etc to Version 6 as we are really still learning to use it in our church. I am not trying to be a killjoy as you guys do great work, but I am so disappointed with V7 ...

The newest version is 7.1.2 and is available on our download page, at www.mediashout.com/download. This version, moving from v7.0 to 7.1, includes some major feature additions and improvements.

I'm glad you got it working. There is literally zero guidance on how to set his up. Can someone please provide details, or instructions on how to use timed advance on cues as well as how to create a loop in V7?

I have tried using the new script control in MediaShout 7 and I must be missing a step, because I can't get to work. DO you have step by step instructions or a video to watch.

On the right side of v7, in the 'margin' you will see a new icon. If you hover over it, it says "Script Control." If you pull that out you can set timing on the cue you have selected and select what plays after that cue, if it's not the next cue in the script. In other words, you can set timed advance on cue 1, 2 and 3 and on cue 3 set the "After the current cue, play ...." to Cue 1 and it will loop.

In V6 I could skip individual pages but not delete them from a cue as I would have some announcements that appear alternating weeks. I would use this same feature to skip verse in songs as well.

Is that possible to build an announcement cue in v7 where I can select the pages within the cues to skip for that week? Or do I have to build cue for each week?

Right now you would need to build a separate cue for each week. The ability to skip pages or cues is in development, though, and will be in a coming build.
