Media library sorting and filtering

I have hundreds of background videos and images. I've set up the video, audio, and image library.
I wish I could use it, but with so many images and videos, unless I'm missing something, I can't. Scrolling with a miniscule scroll bar, just doesn't work well. Maybe have a modal, like the lyrics, so you have more than 2 wide.

Please put in a request to be able to do a full search/filter, (starts with, ends with, contains, type:png, jpg, gif, etc) and sorting (name, date, file type, and ascending/decending)

Then those tabs may be useful.

Thanks!

Thank you for that suggestion! It will be added to suggested improvements for our developers. We've also asked to be able to search within hierarchical folders (in case, like me, you have 64 different categories of media).

I agree with Mike. This is such a HUGE step backwards from every other version I used since v2.

I have amassed thousands of great images that are categorized in multiple folders and sub-folders (like "hands" :water" "clouds" etc).
MS7 does not appear to have a way to do anything but look in one folder?

That's correct, Drew, for that reason I normally apply backgrounds by opening my Windows File Browser in front of MediaShout, locate the category and background I want to use and drag it onto the cue in the script to apply it as a background.

Thanks Adam, I often did that with previous versions, will do that until something is updated - there are normally are a plethora of windows open as I build scripts anyways.
I'm one of "those" who has thousands of fonts, images, and lyrics and often have to find workarounds. PS: I also have thousands of contacts in my phone accumulated since the early days of PDAs when MS first came out!
