This may be a crazy question but I thought I would ask. Our church uses MediaShout7. We are going to add a stage screen in back of the room soon. I have found how to get the Stage screen displaying just lyrics without backgrounds. My question is if I had 2 versions of a song from SongSelect (one version of just lyrics and one version of lyrics and chords) could I make the version with chords display on the stage monitor in the back of the room and the regulary screen (no chords) show in front of room. We soemtimes use a cloud app called iSingWorship for our music when the worship team is not avialable. iSingWorship can show words only on one screen and words and chords on a second screen (stage monitor in the back). This would be a huge help to our worship team if it can be done in Mediashoul7.

Hey Philip!

With a little bit of formatting and editing, you should definitely be able to do this!

You'd sync the Main Display Text to your Stage Display so that the main verses are on the back screen. After that, you can add text boxes, or pictures of the chords, to that screen so that they are showing up there. It would take a bit of work, but it's doable!

Let us know if you have any specific questions on that!

Thanks,
Ben Wagner, MediaShout Support.

Totally understandable. Maybe someday we can get these features a bit more user-friendly! In the meantime, that's my best thinking on it! :)

I was trying to think of a creative way to import the slides from SongSelect with the chords and format the font colors in a way the front of room would not see them but the stage monitor would. That way we only need the one document. I will have to try and see what happens.

Thanks for your help though.
