Hello guys. I'm trying to do a "save as" to my thumb drive for transport to the Church. The file will replace the existing one on the thumb drive. I get the message "File exists, do you want to replace it? Answer "yes" and that's it. MS7 will not do a "save as" as an existing file. Renaming the file works ok.
Thanks.

If both of the computers are running the same build of MediaShout, the scripts should save and display normally. What build are you running on those machines?

Adam, I'm just working with one computer right now It is the latest build. If I "save as" to the thumb drive (that has an older file of the same name), I get the overwrite warning, yet, the file will not write. I have to get into the V7 folder and copy/paste it over to the thumb drive.
Hope this helps?

Stu, I'm curious if you removed that old file from the thumb drive, will it 'save as' then?

It's very strange Adam. If I "save as" to the thumb drive it works fine. That being the first time.
Doing another "save as" (using the same name), even if the file is deleted, fails.
If I "save as" using a different name, it works fine. Going back to do a "save as" using the original name works as well.
It's like it won't write more than once using a given name. Very strange. Hope this helps?

Did I understand from the other ticket we have that the Save As issue has been resolved?

Yes, I have tried to "save as" a few times and it is working fine with the 7.2.5 build.
You can close this one out.
Thanks
