Font not working?

We have been using the font Steelfish for months for our slides. (It did not come with MS6, I had downloaded & installed it on our computer) Today when I opened up MS6 I found that particular unable to change sizes. It is "stuck" on size 24, which is entirely too small for our use. I can choose others fonts (which can installed) and alter the size. I reinstalled the font, but it hasn't fixed the issue. Any suggestions?

Ann,

You should be able to double click within the Font Size window to type in any specific font size that you need, then hit the enter key and the Apply to Cue button to apply it to all pages of that cue. Then, it should add it to the list at the bottom so it can be used again in the future.

Let me know if you are unable to do this.

Thanks!

Yup, unable to do that. When I hit the enter key it goes back to 24. If I try to choose any of the font sizes from the drop down menu, it goes right back to 24.

Ann,

That is interesting.. I may need you to send me that Font Style so I can do some testing with it. Does this happen with other Font Styles?. Are you highlighting text first and then changing the Font Size? Also, if you are using a Bible Scripture, make sure that you aren't highlighting the Superscript Verse Numbers within the Text, if you have them turned on.

Let me know if you continue to have trouble with this.

I'm using Steelfish Regular. I've had this font installed for months & have been using it with no problems. I'd created templates for our lyrics and scripture using it and now it suddenly won't allow me to change the font size to anything but 24. The templates are even only allowing 24. If highlight the text and try to choose another size it just goes to 24 as soon as you release the mouse. Same thing with scripture (we don't use the superscript numbers) I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling the font, shutting down/reopening MS, restarting the computer, nothing fixes it. This appears to be happening with all the fonts we've installed on our own. Fonts that came with MS6 are working fine. Like I said, this wasn't an issue for months, now they suddenly won't work. It's frustrating to say the least.

Ann,

Is it possible for you to send me that version (or any other version that is not working)? I want to do some testing with it on my system to see if it does the same thing. I can even test in some older builds to see if something has changed.

Please let me know if that is a possibility or not.

Thanks,

Ryan
