Hey Nolan!

Thanks for your input! This is something that is already on the list, but I will let the team know again to be sure.

God Bless!

Hey Nolan,

One thing I just thought of and wanted to make sure you were aware, is the www.mediashout.com/obs article that we have.

This article shows you how to use MediaShout and OBS (or another streaming application) to stream online.

I hope this is helpful!

Hi Ryan, thanks for your response! Yes I have read that article and have used obs in the past. We currently use sling studio to stream and love it! The way we use media shout is to bring the feed in as a background..and it gives us another source in the Sling Studio as well as imag capabilities very easily without having to use different inputs on our switcher since we are already keying through sling studio...At one time MS was even suggesting using the live feed bg as an option to stream if i remember correctly...We were just very surprised to find this was not a feature that was available when we upgraded to 7..We were looking for it to be even easier, not losing things that were important to us..Please don't take it as a criticism, because we have had MS since the beginning(or at least since version 2) and have enjoyed it, even pushed it to other churches...it's just that we have gotten used to having that feature and to see that it disappeared is very disheartening...!!!

Hey Nolan,

No problem at all. Ah, yes that works great. Yes, MediaShout 6 had this but we found that more times than not, it would cause MediaShout to crash because the computer was simply not powerful enough to handle this. Because of this, we decided early on not to add Live Feed. But, with the way things are going, we have realized that it is necessary to have it.

Sure! No problem at all, I appreciate any and all suggestions! I have already let the team know just to be certain they are working on it!
