Song Select Not Working

We're not sure what happened but our link to Song Select stopped working. We are no longer able to try and reconnect it (yes, the subscription is active) and when we do, we get a popup window with this error... "Your authentication token was not valid, is missing, already used, or expired. Try going back to the site you were on and connecting to SongSelect again"

I've searched the Internet, Song Select site and forums and I'm not finding anything. Any suggestions? We've reinstalled Media Shout as well.

I would be happy to help you. This means the time or date on the computer is wrong. If you close MediaShout, then right click the time in the bottom right corner, and click adjust date and time. Then make sure it is exactly right, also that it is the right timezone. Once that's fixed, go back into MediaShout and it should work.

i have the same issue. however i have checked my time\date\zone data and it seems accurate. any additional insight? we just recently signed up for song select and we are not able to sync with media shout. we can sign in on the website but not through the software.

I would be happy to help you. Have you checked to see if you can actually download lyric sheets from the website, not just go to them on there? If you can't, the issue may be with the SongSelect account. If you can— the issue may be a firewall issue where MediaShout is being blocked from getting out to SongSelect's servers. I'd try making sure MediaShout is an exception or turning off all Windows, 3rd party software, or physical network firewalls to troubleshoot. Let us know if you need more help.

I would be happy to help you. What version of MediaShout are you running? You may need to just go to Settings, General Settings, then Lyrics, then click on CCLI SongSelect and press to "Reset SongSelect Connection" and see if that helps, if on MediaShout 6. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
