I guess I am unique in this, but I really really don't like the black theme in the control screen... Is there a setting to select a different theme, or is this coming?

The ability to change from Dark theme to Light theme is a user setting that will be available at a later date but is not currently a priority for development.

This may not be a priority for development, but as a user who just purchased this. I find it extremely to edit in my environment.

Yup, the black theme is not happening for me, nor my volunteers. Very difficult color of a theme to work with. Until then, I have no choice but to keep on using MediaShout 6 along with it's bugs and other issues. May want to consider adding this issue onto the priority list since it's the first thing the end user see's when launching the program, (sooner than later).

I don't mid the black theme, but the text is too small and low contrast color ... I can't see it very well and there fore am more likely to close the program and restart my Version 5 or 6. Very disappointing.

Understood. As mentioned, this issue is being addressed and should be corrected in a near-future update.

We were running MediaShout 5 when our computer crashed. Thus, we are looking to purchase a replacement. The black screen is a turn-off! Has this been resolved in the purchased version of the software?

Has not yet been made available. In the interim we are hoping to see a higher contrast UI in the current configuration soon.

Am just evaluating the trial MS7 but I find the dark main theme of the UI very disappointing. The text is small and the contrast is very poor. This makes it very hard for an operator to see details on the screen especially in a brightly lit worship area. We are hoping to upgrade from MS4 to MS7 soon but this feature is a real off-put. I really hope you will be able to fix this soon. Otherwise we shall be looking for another platform. Any time-frame for an update, please?

We are anxiously awaiting an update that will allow the user to select a light- or dark-theme. Not available yet, though.

I just want to say that one of the main reasons I upgraded to MS7 was the sleeker, dark UI. I find it much easier on the eyes, and I'm very glad it no longer looks like a program designed for Windows 95 lol! Just thought I'd add some positive feedback to balance out some of the criticism here. :)

Aaron, we appreciate that and understand there are different views of the same program. We are happy with the appearance of v7 but know some users have difficulty (I'm one of them) with the lower-contrast UI. Soon there will be a choice! :-)

Screen display is horrible. And the training videos too. You can't see what they are pointing at, because you can't see the screen. And, I might add that for people learning, they go way too fast on those videos for a beginner. I'm hoping the screen display is improved.
