How do we get a Playlist to stop playing?

I have a Script control that is Script 1 with a Playlist that contains several songs. The second Script has 1 Cue with the scripture references for the service. That's working like I want it to with the music playing and the scripture references displayed. Now, if we're ready to begin the rest of the service before the Playlist completes, how do I get the music to stop playing?? I had been told previously to simply press the space bar to go to the next cue. Well, that isn't stopping the music. :( The only way I've successfully stopped the music is to press "Stop All" and then just start again but from the next cue.

TIA,
Beth

Hey Beth! Happy to help. You need a "sound control" cue in between where you have the playlist, and the next cue where you want it to stop. If you put in a sound control, set it to the action of "stop all sounds* and then a fade out if you want-- then just make sure you have a cue below/after the sound control, you should be good. When you click the sound control to fire it, it will fade the music out and auto advance into the cue under it like a scripture, graphic, whatever is next.

Hmmmm. I had tried that and it didn't work. Let me start with a completely new slideshow.

No bother at all! That's what we're here for. That is odd but I'm so glad it's working. There may have been something off with that script or the original formatting in it. Let me know if you need more help.
