Hot Keys (for audio)

It would be great if you could add a place for audio “hot keys” I am often throwing up a sound such as a rimshot, a drumroll or a “five minute warning” bell. The five minute bell one is easy. I have it preprogrammed for five minutes before the end of our Sunday School class but having dedicated buttons to fire certain sounds on the spot would be great. I realize that I could customize the three cues at the top right of the screen. But I already use those for customized image cues.

Thanks for the suggestion. We will add it to our list and review it with our developers.

In the mean time, you could create a seperate script woth all of your sound bites and have it loaded as a separate script. This would give you quick access to play them as needed.

I have done that and it is better than nothing however often with some of those quick timing is everything. It sometimes takes a few seconds and by the time I am able to switch over and find it the moment is gone. Also when I have to do that I lose my spot in the original script as it automatically takes me back to the top when I return. Thank you none the less for the consideration.

Jeff,

I have discussed this with the development team. Unfortunately, with all the shortcuts used by Windows and the ones we are using , there just isn't enough keys on the keyboard to do this effectively. However, there are devices that you can incorporate that will give you this and much more. This LINK is to one such device and it has been used by others with your need. If you decide to use it, please let us know how you like it and what you think.
