Ability to Enlarge Verse Reference Number

I would like to be able to enlarge the verse reference number. Currently you can only toggle it on or off as the scripture is displayed. and the reference number is a part of the scripture text box. If it's a seperate text box, then maybe it can be formatted seperate from the scripture text. Or maybe you already have another solution to being able to increase the size of the reference number.
Thank you and I totally love the new software, letting all my friends in other churches know about it as well!
Blessings :)

Angela,

Thanks for the kind words! You can adjust the verse reference number size on a page by page basis by highlighting the verse number and adjusting the font in the ribbon. It is currently part of the text and auto-formatted based off the font settings of that text, with the exception that it is super-script and 1/2 of the font size of the main text. Maybe we can add a setting that follows this by default, but let's you also customize the font size from the ribbon (based on percentages of font size of main text).

Thanks so much for the speedy response Aaron, but I spoke with one of your support team members who said that it was not possible and that I should put a suggestion via your online suggestion link. Also after many attempts to adjust the reference number, it still does not allow the change. I'm thinking that since it's one text box for both script and refernce, the result of changing the size of one will automatically change the other...I'm stumped.
Also I wouldn't have time to adjust the number on a page by page basis, scripture is called for and expected pretty quickly, to have to adjust the reference number would slow the process down way too much. Is there a way to increase the size of the reference number font and save that in the template? Any additional advice would be great.

Angela,

Unfortunately, the default setting mentioned above is hard-coded. I've added the request for our team to look at it from allowing the user to set a percentage size based on the font size of the text. Setting a manual font size independent of the main text could cause other issues, so it won't be possible to do that. Thanks!

Alternatively, I have found that if you untick the box 'Verse Numbers in Text' and in reference box, Insert Token, Page name.

Then you get each verse shown in the reference box as you advance through the pages.

I should have added that you can then make format changes to the reference box without affection the main text.

Graham,

Those are some excellent ideas. Thanks for adding that.
