Upload graphics in bulk in a page

Every Sunday, we have our Pastor's sermon notes saved as jpeg files to be loaded in to Mediashout. As it is right now, we have to create a blank page for every graphic (about 30 per week) then add each picture individually. We can add them in bulk to the cue list, but it creates a different cue for every page of his sermon. We want to be able to add all 30 graphics at once to one cue without having to create individual pages and adding each picture individually. This would be handing if we want to show pictures of our community outreach events as well, you could add all the pictures at once without having to take the time and tedious nature to put them in one by one. I spoke to David May about it on a call, so if this doesn't make sense as you read it, he should remember what I was dealing with.

Nathan,

If the Pastors sermons are in PowerPoint, using the "Import SlideShow" option under the "Insert Elements" will convert the PowerPoint into a multi page image cue without the need for creating a new page for each image.

As far as doing the same with multiple images, since this is working as designed by adding new pages, it is not high priority. However, it is already on the Feature Request list and is under consideration. With the ability for multiple "Objects" (images) on one page, there is some complicated logic that needs to be worked out before we can make this happen.

Yes, we do create the sermon notes in powerpoint, but we had to start saving them as jpegs because the computer does not have all the same fonts, so it would substitute fonts all over the place and we would end up with horrible sermon note slides. I'd be curious to see if the font situation is fixed with the "import slideshow" function, but I don't see how it can be if that computer doesn't have the font installed.

Nathan,

The simple solution here is installing the fonts from the computer that creates the PPT files on the system used to do the conversion. Open Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\Fonts, and then copy the font files you want from the Fonts folder to a network drive or a thumb drive. Then, on the second computer, drag the font files to the Fonts folder, and Windows will automatically install them.

I hope this helps for now.
