MS for Mac V1.1: Packing a Script

Sometimes users need to take a script created on one machine and use it on another computer.  This is done by "packaging" the script.  This process saves the script file and embeds all the media (pictures, videos, etc.) associated with that script file into the contents of the file.

Here are instructions for packaging a script in MS for Mac V1.1:

  1. Go to File > Save As.
  2. Give the script file a name and set the location of where the file will be saved.
  3. Check the box that says "package media files in script document".  (NOTE:  If this box is not checked, the media (pictures, videos, etc.) will not be included with the script file and will not show up on the target computer.)
  4. Click the Save button.

If you need to see what media is inside the contents of the script file, you can right-click on the file and choose "Show Package Contents".
