If you need to Renumber a Stanza with a Lyric, you will need to follow the steps below:
Let's say that your Song has Verse's 1, 2, 3 and 4 and you need to Change Verse 4 to become Verse 2. And, Verse 2 needs to become Verse 3, and 3 needs to become Verse 4.
1. Insert your Lyric into your Script.
2. Select your Lyric on the left hand side of MediaShout
3. Click Add Stanza's on the Ribbon under the Home Tab and Choose Rename Stanza's
4. Choose Verse 2 in the list on the left side and set the Rename To list to a Stanza that you do not have in this song (Reading, Alt Ending, etc.) and click Rename. Then, go back and do this for Verse's 3 and 4 as well.
5. Then, begin with what was Verse 2 (now it is listed as Reading 1) and Rename it to Verse. You should then see that the new Verse is labeled Verse 2. Go back through and do this for the following Stanza's to number them appropriately.
6. Save your Song back to the Library for next time (click the Yellow Triangle in the top right corner of the Cue and choose Save to Library).
Note: When changing the Stanza Number, MediaShout will always go in sequential order. And, it will always make it the number following the highest number that is included within the song. This is why it is Imperative to remove Verse's 2, 3, and 4 in the scenario above before renumbering the Verse's appropriately.
If you need to Rename a Stanza with a Lyric, you will need to follow the steps below:
1. Insert your Lyric into your Script.
2. Select your Lyric on the left hand side of MediaShout
3. Click Add Stanza's on the Ribbon under the Home Tab and Choose Rename Stanza's
4. Choose the Stanza on the left hand side that needs to be renamed to a different Stanza and select the New Stanza Type under Rename To. Click Rename.
5. Save your Song back to the Library for next time (click the Yellow Triangle in the top right corner of the Cue and choose Save to Library).
