It is possible to have more than one build of MediaShout 6 on the same computer. This is useful when you want to test a new build without the need for uninstalling and reinstalling. And if something should go wrong, you can simply launch the previous build without issue.
- Go to C:/Program Files (X86)/MediaComplete/MediaShout 6 (NOTE: if you are using 32-bit Windows OS, then you won't have a "Program Files (X86)" folder; instead, just go to "Program Files")
- Right-click on the MediaShout 6 Folder and choose COPY
- Right-click in a blank area of this window and choose PASTE (it will paste a folder called "MediaShout 6 - copy")
- OPTIONAL: It may ask for permission to paste this folder; please click CONTINUE
- Rename the "MediaShout 6 - copy" folder to "MediaShout 6 B44" (or whatever this build is)
- Open the newly renamed folder and find the MediaShout 6 Application (MediaShout 6.exe)
- Right-click on this file and choose Send To->Desktop (create Shortcut)
- Go to the Desktop and rename this shortcut to "MediaShout 6 B44" (or something similar) for easy identification
- Now install the new build as normal and you will have two MediaShout 6 icons on the desktop
