There is a new function within MediaShout 7 that will generate a log file whenever it experiences an error message or crash. These log files can be very helpful to our development team when they are trying to track down exactly what was happening during those errors. The log files are located in an area of the computer's file system that is typically not visible or easily accessed, but we have created a simple tool that will retrieve those files and place them in a folder on your desktop.
If you need to gather those logs for a support request or bug submission, please download the tool at the link below and run it whenever you want to copy the current log file into its desktop folder. You can then attach that log file to your submission (along with a description of what you did or experienced) for us to assess.
