MediaShout 7.7.1 Will Not Open After Updating
We’ve received reports from a small number of users who found that MediaShout 7 will no longer open after installing the 7.7.1 update.
In almost every case, this issue can be resolved by removing a specific file and reinstalling MediaShout.
How to Fix the Issue
Please follow these steps carefully:
1. Close MediaShout 7
Make sure MediaShout 7 is completely closed before continuing.
2. Uninstall MediaShout 7
After deleting the file:
- Open Windows Settings
- Go to Apps or Installed Apps
- Find MediaShout 7
- Click Uninstall
3. Delete the SQLite.Interop.dll File
Navigate to the following folder on your computer:
C:\Program Files\MediaShout\MediaShout 7\x64
Inside that folder, locate and delete this file:
SQLite.Interop.dll
4. Reinstall MediaShout 7
Download and install the latest version of MediaShout 7 again.
Once the reinstall is complete, launch MediaShout normally.
