If there is an occasion when, as page breaks are being performed, a verse's pages become jumbled. Here are steps to follow to get the verse in the proper order after a page break.
- Place the curser back into the textbox that you created the page break in. Press the "Undo" icon in the upper left corner of the top-line menu until the verse is back in its original configuration.
- Expand the textbox of the page. Suggested is X: 20 px, Y: 36 px, W: 1240 px, H: 650 px
- Format the text with the Font properties and fx properties.
- Apply the formatting to all pages.
- It is recommended that the above changes be saved to the Cues Library and/or saved the file.
- Make a copy of the verse causing the issue. This copy will be used to copy and paste the verse later.
- Create the page break.
- Perform the page break on the appropriate verse. If the pages are out of order and there is another verse between them, for example: after the page break the order is Verse 1c, Bridge 1, Verse 1a, Verse 1b, then move Bridge 1 to where it is supposed to be.
- Rename the out-of-order pages. Verse 1c becomes Verse 1a, the old Verse 1a becomes Verse 1b, and the old Verse 1b becomes Verse 1c.
- Copy and paste the lyrics into their proper order from the original verse you copied earlier.
To assist in mitigating the program automatically reformatting lyrics in a cue when creating page breaks, the following steps can be taken:
- Insert the lyrics into a cue.
- Expand the textbox of a page. Suggested is X: 20 px, Y: 36 px, W: 1240 px, H: 650 px
- Format the text with the Font properties and fx properties.
- Apply the formatting to all pages.
- Create the page breaks.
- It is recommended that the above changes be saved to the Cues Library and/or saved the file.
- Once this is done, the pages can be formatted without losing what has been previously done. This includes font properties, textbox positioning, textboxes can be resized, etc.
