MediaShout 7 Keyboard Shortcuts
Use these keyboard shortcuts to work faster and more efficiently in MediaShout 7.
General Use

| Ctrl+Enter | Insert Page Break |
| F2 | Toggle Main Display On/Off |
| F3 | Toggle Stage Display On/Off |
| F4 | Fire Quick Cue 1 |
| F5 | Fire Quick Cue 2 |
| F6 | Fire Quick Cue 3 |
| F7 | Play Previous Page/Cue |
| F9 | Play Next Page/Cue (or next Object if using steps) |
| Esc | Unselect the currently selected Object |
| Delete | Remove the selected Cue |
| Insert | Insert a new page (if page is selected) |
Scaling Shortcuts
Use these shortcuts to quickly change how media objects display on your screens:
| Shortcut | Scaling Mode | Description |
| Ctrl+0 | Original | Keeps same resolution as original media file |
| Ctrl+1 | Scale to Fit | Adjusts to fit entire object on screen as large as possible without cutting content. May letterbox but will not distort. |
| Ctrl+2 | Scale to Fill | Fills screen completely and crops as needed. No letterboxing, no distortion, but may lose content on edges. |
| Ctrl+3 | Stretch to Fill | Stretches object to fill screen completely. May distort aspect ratio and visibly warp the image. |

Pro Tips
- Hold arrow keys for faster movement when nudging objects pixel-by-pixel
- Combine modifiers (Ctrl, Shift, Alt) with arrow keys for different effects—Shift for 10-pixel jumps, Ctrl for resizing, Alt for rotating
- F7 and F9 let you navigate through pages and cues without using the mouse
- Quick Cues (F4-F6) are perfect for last-minute additions during service
