How do I get my bibles and songs from v3 to v4?

Full Version
1. In Mediashout, go to Tools>Resource Manager.
2. Choose a method in the Select and Install from menu on the left.
A. MediaShout Installation Disc: This uses the original install DVD.
B. Online Resource Manager: This uses our online database. (This option generally takes longer as media files
have to be downloaded from the Internet.)
3. After choosing your install method, it will pop up English and Non-English bible check boxes.
4. Check the boxes.
5. Press the Install button on the right.
Upgrade Version
Option 1- Version 3.x installed on same computer.
1.Click Tools > Setup Assistant.
2. Choose the Bibles to be brought from the V3.
Option 2 – Version 3.x installation disk.
1. Place your version 3 disk into the disk drive. (If you have two disks, make sure you use the Installation disk, not the Media disk.)
2. Click Tools > Resource Manager.
3. Click MediaShout Installation Disk.
4. Click all the bibles > click install.
Option 3 – Version 3.x installed on another computer but you do not have the disk.
1. Browse to My Shout>Bible Library>English or Non English.
Typical file locations are as follows:
Vista and Win 7 -- C:\Users\Public\My Shout\Bible Library
XP-- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\My Shout\Bible Library
(Sometimes it may be under the root C:)
2. Highlight all the bibles in that folder. (CTRL+A)
3. After the bibles are highlighted, make a copy to the clipboard. (CTRL+C)
4. Paste the bibles onto a jump drive or a disk and then go the other computer
5. Copy those files from your jump drive to the MediaShout v4.x bible library location in My Shout>V4>Bible Library>English.
6. Paste the bibles in the English folder.
Note: If you do not have a disk nor MediaShout V3.x is not installed onto any computers you will need to purchase a
Replacement disk and then follow instruction in Option 2.

Songs
Import your songs into version V4.x from version V3.x where V3.x is on the same computer as V4.x
Option 1- Version 3.x installed on same computer.
1. Click Tools > Setup Assistant.
2. Choose the Songs finish through the setup wizard.
Option 2 - Bring your songs from a different computer
1. Browse to My Shout>Song Library>Songs3.mdb.
Typical file locations are as follows:
Vista and Win 7 -- C:\Users\Public\My Shout\Bible Library
XP -- C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\My Shout\Bible Library
(Sometimes it may be under the root C:)
2. Highlight Songs3.mdb file in that folder > right click > click copy.
3. Paste the file onto a jump drive or a disk and then go the other computer.
4. Copy the file from the jump drive to the local machine.
5. Now follow the instructions to import the songs into V4.x contained below.
Import The V3 Songs Into MediaShout V4
1. Open MediaShout V4.x
2. Click File > Song Library.
3. Select Import Songs>From Files.
4. Choose Song Data File as the Source Type.
5. Click Next.
6. Click on the Browse button to find V3 database file. (Songs3.mdb)
7. Press Open. (It will take you back to the previous window.)
8. Click Next.
9. Choose to import > skip duplicates with Identical song name and ID if you do not want duplicate entries.
