Title: Sample Song
Author: Biff Smith
Copyright: © 2001 MediaComplete Corp.
PlayOrder: verse1, chorus1, verse2, bridge1, chorus1, ending1  (Additional stanza types: pre-chorus, tag, intro, alt-ending, refrain, reprise, reading and interlude. Stanzas must be spelled out in v4)

Verse 1:
A stanza can take up any number of lines. Use a hard return to start a new line:
Like this.

Blank lines are removed within stanzas, so put them in after importing.
Soft returns (word wrap) are ignored on import. The lyrics text will wrap according to the font and margins chosen for a Lyric cue that uses the song.

Verse 2:
MediaShout ignores stanza numbers during import:
Text below the first "Verse #:" code is treated as Verse 1, text below the second such code as Verse 2, and so on.
So if you want your stanzas to be numbered correctly in the song record, place them in the correct order in the text file.

Chorus 1:
No need to worry about placing stanzas in the order you want to play them:
The play order can be chosen in a Lyric cue that uses the song.
This allows you to repeat or skip any stanza.

Bridge 1:
You can also import a default play order with the song.
Simply add a PlayOrder:" code just as we've done in this song's text file.
The play order can be written out (e.g., Verse 1, Chorus 1), or abbreviated.

Bridge 2:
Note that if you import a default play order, you don't need to include every stanza in it.
For example, this stanza will be imported with the song, but it won't appear in the default play order.

Ending 1:
A song can have any number of verses, choruses, bridges and endings.
In addition, a text file can contain any number of songs.
Just begin each song with the "Title:" code so ShoutSinger will know where to begin a new song record.
