Sometimes our users need to import the Spanish song library into MediaShout. Attached is a zipped copy of the database that can be imported. Here are instructions for importing the Spanish song library into MediaShout:
MediaShout v3
- Download the attached Spanish song database file from the bottom of this article to the computer and unzip it (right-click and select Extract All...).
- Go to Tools > ShoutSinger.
- Select File > Import Songs > From Files.
- Choose ShoutSong Data File v3 as the Source Type.
- Click Next.
- Click on the Browse button.
- Find the Spanish database file that you have downloaded and unzipped.
- Highlight the file and select Open.
- Click Next.
- Select Import All Songs (recommended) or Skip Duplicates depending on how you want to import the songs.
- Click Import. (This will import the songs and pop up a results box telling you what was Selected and Imported.)
MediaShout v4
- Download the attached Spanish song database file from the bottom of this article to the computer and unzip it (right-click and select Extract All...).
- Open MediaShout v4 and go to the Songs deck.
- Go to the Song Library Tools Menu (blue triangle pointing down, located at the top right corner of the Songs deck).
- Select Add Songs > From Files.
- Choose ShoutSong Data File v3 as the Source Type.
- Click Next.
- Click on the Browse button.
- Find the Spanish database file that you have downloaded and unzipped.
- Highlight the file and select Open.
- Click Next.
- Select Import All Songs (recommended) or Skip Duplicates depending on how you want to import the songs.
- Click Import. (This will import the songs and pop up a results box telling you what was Selected and Imported.)
