Working with Audio Files in MediaShout 7

MediaShout 7.2 now has the ability to add Audio Files!

There are two ways to do this:

1) Insert the Audio as a Background File so it will play across multiple pages of a cue.

Step 1: Select the cue (on the left hand side of MediaShout 7) that you would like to add the Audio File to.

Step 2: On the right side of the program, go to the Layers Tab and click the Background Button

Step 3: Go to the Audio Tab (in Blue) and click Choose Audio (in Red) to browse your computer and select your Audio File.

Step 4: Select your File and click Open to add it to this Cue.

Step 5: On the left side of the Background Settings window, you'll see the options for that song. You can make any necessary adjustments here. Then, click Save Changes.

Note: You are still able to add a Video/Image/Color background along with an Audio File.

2) Insert the Audio File as an object on a specific page of a cue (it will not play across multiple pages).

Step 1: Select the cue (on the left hand side of MediaShout 7) AND the specific page of that cue that you would like to add the Audio File to.

Step 2: Either go to the Library Tab and the Audio tab to Drag and Drop your Audio File into the Editing Area of that page. OR go to Insert > Media Files and Browse to select your Audio File.
